The California Supreme Court and wool bras

It starts out “Dear Herby”. It always starts out that way, the emails from the National Women’s Law Center. It’s like I’m their buddy, long lost sister, or comrade just freed from a patriarchal labor camp where I was whipped into testing wool bras designed to make women scratch themselves silly.

The Fe-ME-ists who run the NWLC apparently think I care. I do. Their emails inflame my acid reflux so bad I blow bulimic… Governor Brown, it says – in the “Dear Herby” email – nominated Law Professor Goodwin Liu to the “highest court in California”. Great, another Mangina appointed to a Supreme Court. Blow…

Now how does that happen? Let’s see…hmm:

Liu is a well regarded and reputedly fair minded Associate Dean and Professor of Law at UC-Berkeley.

Jerry (Moonbeam) Brown is Governor.

Liu served on the education policy and agency review teams of the Obama-Biden Presidential Transition.

The President appointed Liu to the U.S. Court of Appeals Ninth Circuit but Liu withdrew his nomination after being filibustered in the Senate.

He’s a regular commentator for Fe-Me-ist media bastions like the New York Times, Washington Post, Los Angeles Times, PBS News-Hour with Jim Lehrer, and NPR.

And, last but not lease, early on he clerked for portside of center U.S. Supreme Court arch Fe-ME-ist Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

Ginsberg in her book Sex Bias in the U.S. Code wrote “the adult world is divided into two classes—independent men, whose primary responsibility is to win bread for a family, and dependent women, whose primary responsibility is to care for children and household. This concept must be eliminated.” It seems Ginsburg isn’t big on freedom to choose, unless, of course, the issue is abortion or perhaps denying children their fathers, which could be one in the same—or, not. Kind ‘a sounds like Ginsberg’s one of those “it takes a village to raise a child” rather than parents – no Dad needed regardless. Riots burning England to the ground show how good that Fe-ME-ist ideological fantasy works. Think about it.

Liu also served on the Board of Directors of the National Women’s Law Center. Wow! What a coincidence. He even lists it on his bio. No wonder the NWLC is hot to get this guy installed on the California Supreme Court – they might own a chunk of the him…and his vagina, regardless of who is wearing it. Did I mention the wool panties? Hinky.
